Graffletopia

A library and store for OmniGraffle stencils.

OmniGraffle is a popular diagramming app for the Mac, and it comes with ready-made shapes called stencils that you can drag and drop into your diagrams. Stencils cover a wide range of uses, from user interfaces and network topologies to floor plans.

I created Graffletopia to make stencils easy to find and share. Every stencil page has a built-in preview, so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you download it.

It started out as a little project for Summer of Rails, but quickly grew into the place OmniGraffle users went to find stencils and share their own. Later, I added an API that let OmniGraffle search Graffletopia directly, so people could find stencils without ever leaving the app.

Today, Graffletopia is a thriving community for stencil designers and OmniGraffle users alike, with more than a thousand stencils to download.
