A cinematic new portfolio site for a film and television production designer.

Lauren Rosenbloom is a production designer and art director whose work includes The Electric State, Fly Me to the Moon, and Ant-Man. I moved her portfolio off Squarespace and rebuilt it from scratch as a custom Rails app, with a dark, cinematic design that lets her stills fill the screen.

To make the move painless, I wrote a scraper that imported every project and image from the old site. Projects can be filtered by discipline, and a simple admin lets her add projects, upload stills, and choose which images lead the home page slideshow.

Projects that haven’t been released yet stay behind a password, so she can share them with other industry professionals before they go public.
