I founded SanDiegoJS to create a community for local JavaScript developers. The group was inspired by SD Ruby and aimed to provide a similar space for JavaScript enthusiasts.

Early meetups were held at 3rd Space, a local coworking and community space in University Heights.

The group is still running today.
